Joana joined British Patient Capital in December 2021. Previously she was responsible for access to finance at the cluster organization MedCity, including running their life sciences investment network, where she worked closely with early-stage companies and investors, did scientific and commercial due diligence and provided an education in the sector. Joana holds a PhD in Biochemical Engineering from University College London.
