Quantexa

Quantexa is a data and analytics specialist which has developed a software platform for organisations to help them make meaningful, evidence-based decision using data and machine learning.

It works by collecting and connecting all data points that relate to a customer, prospect or entity an organisation has a relationship with, and then presents them to the user as a single record, providing a complete picture of its interactions with other individuals, organisations and places. This enables users to uncover hidden risks and new opportunities, and is solving major challenges across data management, financial crime, customer intelligence, credit risk and fraud.

British Patient Capital initially had exposure to Quantexa via its commitment into Dawn Capital’s third fund. Then in 2020 we co-invested alongside Dawn in the company’s Series C investment round, and then invested again in July 2021.

Quantexa is using the investment to accelerate its plans for market expansion and build out its product portfolio development further in areas like data management and industry verticals such as banking, insurance, the public sector and technology, media telecoms. Quantexa will additionally look for inorganic growth opportunities as part of its corporate strategy.
